Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging activity plans tailored to the needs of primary school children.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure activities align with individual development goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as necessary.
- Support children during activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
- Maintain organised records of activity plans and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with directors, colleagues and external partners about activity outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of program offerings based on feedback.
- Assist in organising special events or themed activities that enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in activity planning or related roles within educational or youth support settings.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and creativity.
- strong understanding of the national curriculum and an ability to adapt this to the individual child's bespoke programme.
