The Job :
- Qualified PSV drivers to transport adults and/or children with additional needs and abilities in Southport and the surrounding area.
- Full training on how to use the equipment safely is provided.
- Hours are consistent every week with no late nights or weekend work required.
Locations : Southport/Formby
Working Hours : Part-time, between 20hrs > 25hrs per week. Options for School (term-time) or Day Centre (all-year-round) hours.
Pay : Part-time starting at £14 p/h.
About You :
Essential –
- Must have D / D1 Licence – Qualified PSV Driver
- Valid CPC
- Experience of driving passenger vehicles
- Valid licence and willing to undergo regular Driving Licence checks
- Willing to complete Enhanced DBS checks
- Willing to undergo additional training
- Reliability and Consistency in the role with a kind and patient nature
- Able to provide proof of Right to work in the UK (passport etc)
- Must live, or be willing to commute, to the Southport area
Desirable –
- Safeguarding, MiDAS or PATs qualification/experience
- Experience in transporting passengers with additional needs and abilities
- Good knowledge of the Southport road networks
