We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or related roles such as barista, chef, or waiter is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring guests enjoy their experience from the moment they arrive until they leave, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS POSITION WILL INVOLVE WORKING UNTIL 11:30PM ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS, AND 7:30 PM ON SUNDAYS
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Engage with guests courteously, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Take orders accurately, handle cash or electronic payments efficiently, and manage tabs as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow all food safety regulations and health & safety procedures diligently.
- Assist with light food preparation or delivery driver duties when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is advantageous.
- Experience as a barista or in kitchen roles can be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver excellent guest services are essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
