Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team at one of our UK offices (Luton, Loanhead) or remotely for the right candidate. The Estimator will be responsible for analysing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive project proposals. Key tasks include assessing documentation, determining labour and material costs, consulting with vendors and subcontractors, and contributing to value engineering initiatives. This is an office-based role, however, our Estimator will be required to attend site visits and client tender meetings on a regular basis,
Skills and Personal Qualities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams.
- Proven experience in estimating for industrial or construction projects, ideally involving rope access or steeplejack methods.
- Commercial awareness and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other estimating systems is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project planning tools is preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Estimator role within industrial services, construction, or engineering.
- Experience working for a company with rope access, scaffolding, or specialist access capabilities is highly desirable.
- HND in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable
- Full UK driving licence.

This is one vacancy, and the successful candidate can be based at either our Luton or Edinburgh office. We are flexible on location and encourage applications from candidates in both areas.
Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
