About the Role
As a Bespoke Services Support Worker, you will provide professional, person-centred support to adults living with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, mental health diagnoses, and/or substance misuse challenges. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a direct impact on the lives of others by promoting independence, inclusion, and dignity.
You’ll work within people’s own homes and community settings across the Thanet and Canterbury areas, helping each individual to develop life skills, manage daily routines, and achieve their personal goals. - Assist in the design, delivery, and review of risk assessments, behavioural management plans, and personalised support strategies.
- Provide practical daily support such as meal preparation, attending appointments or community activities, and helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Record and monitor progress through detailed daily notes, behavioural observations, and data collection to support service improvement.
- Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Apply approved de-escalation and positive behaviour techniques to manage challenging situations safely and compassionately.
