About Us
We are a successful, family-run sewer connection contractor with a long-term pipeline of work for major clients.
We’re a supportive, close-knit team where every member is highly valued. We operate on a flat structure, meaning we collaborate closely and all get stuck in hands-on to ensure project success.
Our Expectations: Premium Workmanship & Reliability
We take great pride in our reputation for delivering top-tier sewer connections. Because we maintain exceptionally high standards for our clients, we are looking for top workers who take absolute pride in their trade.
- Proven Expertise Only: This is not a trainee role. You must fully understand drainage systems and know exactly what you are doing on-site from day one.
- Uncompromising Quality: We expect precise, high-quality workmanship on every install.
- Daily Site Accountability: You will be responsible for running the site and will report directly to the Contracts Manager every day to provide updates on progress, materials, and schedules.
- Absolute Reliability: We run efficient, tight-knit site teams where daily punctuality, self-motivation, and consistent attendance are non-negotiable.
If you are a highly skilled professional looking for a stable, long-term home where quality work and dependability are recognized and rewarded, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
This is an active, working supervisor role. You will be responsible for running the job on-site while directly participating in pipelaying activities alongside your team.
- Run & Oversee the Site: Take full ownership of running the daily operations on-site, supervising the team, and ensuring work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations.
- Daily Reporting (Essential): Act as the key link between the site and office by reporting to the Contracts Manager every day with accurate updates on job progress, material requirements, and schedules.
- High-Quality Pipelaying: Actively lay pipes, perform groundwork, and lead the installation of complex drainage systems.
- Plant Operation: Safely and efficiently operate excavators and heavy machinery on-site.
Where We Work
Our projects are mainly based in and around London.
- Jobs Planned Around Your Location: We value our teams' time outside of work. Wherever possible, we try to book our projects based on the location of each gang, aiming to keep your jobs as close to your home as we can to make your daily commute easier.
- Flexibility Required: While we always try to keep you local, there will inevitably be jobs that are further afield. We expect our teams to be flexible and willing to travel to these sites when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Drainage Experience (Essential): Extensive, proven track record specifically in deep drainage systems, pipelaying, and civil groundwork. You must have the technical knowledge to run a job and hit the ground running.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong capability to run a site, manage a small team, and communicate clearly, professionally, and consistently with the Contracts Manager on a daily basis.
- Machinery Tickets: Valid excavator licence (CPCS/NPORS highly preferred).
- Skills: Proficient in drainage welding techniques and the safe operation of power tools.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to executing neat, accurate, and compliant installations.
- Reliability: Exceptional timekeeping and a self-driven approach to daily tasks.
What We Offer
- Excellent Job Security: Long-term, consistent contract work with major industry clients.
- A Supportive Working Environment: A family-run business that genuinely invests in and looks after its workforce.
- Smarter Commutes: We actively try to schedule your work close to home to cut down your travel times.
- Competitive Compensation: Packages tailored to experience and commitment, with the respect and recognition you deserve.
