Due to our continued growth and national client portfolio of partners, Pennington Choices is looking for qualified field-based Asbestos Surveyors to join our asbestos teams across the UK, ensuring the delivery of asbestos services in accordance with client’s contractual requirements in both commercial and housing sectors.
As an Asbestos Surveyor at Pennington Choices your responsibilities would involve:
- Conducting UKAS-accredited Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys.
- Staying updated on asbestos and health & safety legislation, UKAS standards, and industry best practices. Working flexibly across offices or client sites as required.
- Maintaining technical expertise and sector awareness.
- Complying with quality management, assurance, and audit processes.
- Upholding company values and professionalism.
- Ensuring timely delivery of work and meet legal obligations.
- Taking ownership of achieving personal billing and productivity targets.
- Contributing to a positive, open, and learning-focused company culture.
- Engaging in ongoing training and development.
- Performing other duties as needed.
To succeed in this role you will need to hold (as a minimum) P402 qualifications, and possess the following attributes:
- Experience in conducting UKAS accredited asbestos surveys to a high standard
- Full driving License and driving experience
- Ability to work at height and confined spaces (training provided)
- Agreement to DBS check
Beneficial experience:
- Construction or surveying HND or Degree Scientific/Maths A-levels, or science HND.
- P401/P403/P404/S301/W504 qualifications
