The advertised role is for a fixed term contract for 8-9 weeks over the summer holiday period. The working day normally starts at 0900 hrs and usually will finish around 1800 hrs depending on time of year and is for Monday to Friday.
Being part of our food preparation team as a cook within our cafe food service outlet is a rewarding position.
Successful applicants will be reliable, sensible, polite, friendly, and able to work well as part of a diverse team under pressure in a busy environment. Previous hygiene, customer service or food preparation experience is preferable but not essential as training will be given. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to legislation.
Duties include; You will be required to adhere to food hygiene regulations when preparing and cooking food and provide customer assistance. Operation of cooking equipment and the cleaning of equipment is required to maintain a safe work environment. Some manual handling of stock deliveries will be required. You will be trained in cash handling and till operation to allow flexibility and relief for break periods. Work must always be to high standard, and you will be required to maintain good personal hygiene.
