Role Overview
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising care staff in the community, carrying out assessments, and ensuring that service users receive the highest standard of care. You will work closely with the Care Coordinator and Care Manager to maintain smooth service delivery and support the on-going development of the care team.
Working Hours & Location
- Community-based role with regular travel to service users’ homes
- Office attendance required for meetings, training, and reporting
- Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends depending on service needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments for care workers
- Complete initial assessments, care reviews, and risk assessments
- Update care plans to reflect changes in service users’ needs
- Support carers during home visits and provide guidance where required
- Ensure all care delivered meets CQC standards and company policies
- Respond promptly to concerns, safeguarding issues, and incidents
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals
- Provide hands-on care when necessary to support the team or cover emergencies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (electronic and paper-based)
- Work collaboratively with the Care Coordinator to ensure continuity of care
- Promote best practice and contribute to the growth and development of the service
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar care setting
- Strong understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- A flexible, empathetic, and professional approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
