We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant pub environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in managing a team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and service quality. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a background in hospitality.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Manage the organisation of the bar area, including stock control, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Lead by example in serving customers, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training as needed, and foster a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Handle customer complaints professionally to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Being a flexible member of staff.
- Working closely with our management team.
- Being able to successfully open and close the pub when required.
Requirements:
- Some kind of management experience within a hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of serving techniques, hospitality standards, and customer service excellence.
- Able to control a situation confidently
- Able to command a team confidently
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Over 18
- Ideally a flexible work schedule
- Ideally able to assist with cellar responsibilities (such as moving barrels and line cleaning)
- Ideally lives in Exmouth as there are regular late finishes (Sometimes later than public transport runs)
Pay: From £13.40 per hour
