Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team, specialising in landscape maintenance, construction, and general site upkeep. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of physical tasks, supporting ongoing projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our outdoor and construction sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in horticulture, gardening, and maintenance work to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. All positions are paid, including internships.
Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, grass cutting, and general garden care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
- Supporting construction activities including site clearance, material movement, and basic assembly work
- Performing routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
- Digging trenches, laying foundations, or preparing sites for development projects
- Assisting with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety standards
- Supporting team members with various labouring tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is advantageous but not essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and construction equipment is desirable
- Experience with excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of site safety procedures and maintenance practices
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour including lifting, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in construction and maintenance fields

Pay: £12.21-£21.61 per hour
