Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) post based in Western General Hospital
This is a full-time (10PAs) clinical post, specialising in Upper GI, NET and Renal Cancers. The post holder will be expected to provide a consultant-led service for Upper GI, NET and Renal Cancers including SACT, targeted therapies and immunotherapy, delivering care centrally in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and in a peripheral clinic in NHS Fife. They will work closely with other colleagues to deliver across the SCAN region.
The Upper GI Cancer team consists of the following oncologists:

The Medical and Clinical Oncology teams work closely together to deliver upper GI cancer services across the SCAN region with clinics in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and NHS Fife. There is a weekly regional MDT. Systemic treatments are delivered centrally in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and across SCAN with radiotherapy services being delivered centrally at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Western General Hospital.
The Endocrine team consists of the following oncologists:

Systemic treatments are delivered centrally in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre with radiotherapy services being delivered centrally at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Western General Hospital.
The Renal Cancer Team consists of the following oncologists: Dr Mark Stares (MO)
Dr Jennifer Allison (MO)

The Medical and Clinical GU Oncology teams work closely together to deliver renal cancer services across the SCAN region with clinics in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. There is a weekly regional MDT for GU, where renal cancers are discussed. Systemic treatments are delivered centrally in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and across the SCAN region with radiotherapy services being delivered centrally at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Western General Hospital.
