We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily retail operations within our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in retail management. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee team performance.
- Ensure the store is well-merchandised, organised, and visually appealing to optimise sales opportunities.
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and assist with inventory management.
- Implement promotional activities and sales strategies to maximise revenue.
- Conduct staff training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and organisational procedures.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staffing, and stock control.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organisational skills complemented by good phone etiquette and professional demeanour.
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields is desirable but not essential.
