Job Summary
We are seeking a professional LGV 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating refrigerated lorries to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients. .Responsibilities#
· Safely operate LGV 2 lorries in accordance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Load and secure goods, ensuring proper handling and safety during transit
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, maintaining punctuality and reliability
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checks on brakes, tyres, lights, and load security equipment
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logbooks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
- Assist with loading or unloading when required, ensuring the safe handling of goods
Qualifications
· Valid LGV 2 (Category C) licence with a maximum of 6 points
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
