Hours: Mixed hours between 8am - 2.30pm Monday to Saturday.
Salary: National Minimum living wage based on age.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our busy café. You’ll be the face of the café, providing outstanding service, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring our guests feel welcome and well looked after from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Handle a high pressure service influx alone
- Take food and drink orders accurately using our till system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Handle payments, operate the till, and manage customer bills
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and counters
- Restock supplies (napkins, cutlery, condiments) as needed
- Restock Pastries, Crisps, Drinks and Cakes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and barista staff to ensure smooth service
- Deal with customer queries or complaints in a polite and helpful manner
- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and cleanliness standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar customer-facing role (preferred but not essential)
- Barista Experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety (training can be provided)
