Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing your skills within the cleaning industry. 21 hours a week every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
- Ensure all communal spaces, offices, and restrooms are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as required.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly.
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
