We are currently looking for someone to enhance our team, be full of enthusiasm and bring new ideas to our practice.
We are a busy after school care in East Kilbride and is looking for a playworker to join our amazing team.
The role:
- Provide a safe learning environment.
- Provide creative and fun play activities. This includes be able to take part in the day-to-day organising of areas, materials and equipment.
- Build good relationships with staff, careers and children.
- Attend training and staff meetings as appropriate
- Light general cleaning
- Have good knowledge about policies and guidance relating to play work, e.g. play principles, GIRFEC
- Must be reliable and consistent.

Hours of work:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (term time) 2pm - 5.30pm
Mon - Fri (school holidays) 20 - 25 hours per week
*Breakfast club cover may be needed to cover staff holidays. Breakfast club hours are 7.30am - 9am*
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a recognised Childcare level 7 (HNC) or above qualification, as per government guidelines and we ask that this is clearly shown on your CV please.

£13.12 per hour

The successful candidate will have to undergo an enhanced disclosure/PVG application prior to starting and will be responsible for registering with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
