CNC Turner
We are a family owned company located in Rochdale. We specialize in CNC Machining of Precision Components. We are looking for a CNC Turner to join our team.
Job Description
- Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes that have Fanuc operating systems with a proven track record.
- Work with all types of materials, including steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials.
- Work with all types of tools, including drills, grinders, and sanders.
- Perform routine maintenance on machine equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Perform quality control checks on parts produced by the machine.
- Maintain work area to ensure it is clean and organized.
- Maintain work area by cleaning, sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures established by the company or organization or employer.
Requirements:
- Ability to read Engineering drawings. Ability to follow directions from supervisors. Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times. Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the job requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely without assistance from an associate or supervisor when necessary for Chuck machined components. Stand for periods of time without becoming fatigued or losing focus on task at hand; ability to use various hand tools and hand measuring equipment such as Micrometer and Verniers. Ability to work overtime when required based on workload; ability to learn new processes/techniques if required, ability to learn new processes/techniques by attending training when instructed; ability to be able to use a basic windows based computer, ability to be able to check own work and maintain quality throughout production.
