The Role
We are seeking a capable, composed, and highly organised individual to join our team in a dual clinical and client-facing role. This position is integral to the smooth running of the clinic, bridging front-of-house excellence with hands-on patient care.
The successful candidate will be confident working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and committed to maintaining the highest standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services & Reception
- Deliver a polished, professional, and empathetic client experience at all times
- Manage a high volume of calls, enquiries, and appointment scheduling with efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate client flow within a busy 24-hour setting, including urgent and emergency cases
- Maintain meticulous client records and handle financial transactions with discretion
Clinical Support
- Assist veterinary surgeons and nurses during consultations, procedures, and emergencies
- Prepare, maintain, and sanitise clinical areas to the highest standards
- Confidently and safely handle a variety of patients, supporting restraint and care
- Monitor inpatients and support ward organisation and cleanliness
- Ensure equipment and materials are prepared and available for a fast-moving clinical environment
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in veterinary medicine and patient care
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, reassuring manner
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to take ownership
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends to support our 24 hour hospital
- Previous experience in veterinary, healthcare, or high-end customer service environments is advantageous
