Eden Oaks Care are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our growing residential childcare team.

Your Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will:
- Lead shifts and support the wider staff team
- Build positive relationships with young people
- Support children with daily routines, education, and independence
- Ensure safeguarding and risk management procedures are followed
- Support with staff supervisions, rotas, and team meetings
- Maintain accurate care plans, reports, and risk assessments
- Work closely with management and external professionals
- Support the home on shift, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Requirements
- Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a Children’s Residential Home
- Previous senior experience
- Good understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards
- Therapeutic care experience
- Team Teach / First Aid training
