Senior Care Assistant
Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help us provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
- Write, update, and maintain individualised care plans
- Lead shifts
- Support care staff with daily tasks
- Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Promote a safe, clean, and homely environment at all times
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a senior or similar care role (minimum 1 year preferred)
· NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
· Medication administration trained and competent
· Confident in completing care plans and risk assessments
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
