Halton Consultancy is working on behalf of our client, a regional bus and coach operator, to recruit a Shift Engineer for their Crawley depot.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses and coaches, working to company and DVSA standards, as part of a 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs across a fleet of buses and coaches
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Working to company and DVSA compliance standards
- Working as part of a shift team on a 4 on, 4 off rota, nights only
What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Shift Engineer, Technician, or similar role within PSV, HGV, or commercial vehicle maintenance
- A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair to DVSA standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work a 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern
