Bahnstormer Motorrad is one of the UK's leading BMW Motorcycle Dealerships, known for high standards, strong performance, and a focus on doing things correctly. We are looking for a capable and organised Service Manager to lead our aftersales operation at our Alton branch.
This is a key role within the business. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop and service department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and a consistently high level of customer service.
Job Description:
As Service Manager, you will oversee the workshop, service reception, and aftersales processes. You will manage the team, control workflow, and ensure all work is completed to BMW Motorrad standards. You will also be responsible for driving performance, maintaining compliance, and delivering a smooth and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day operation of the service department
· Plan and control workshop loading to maximise efficiency and productivity
· Lead and support technicians and service advisors
· Ensure all work is completed to BMW Motorrad standards and within agreed timeframes
· Monitor performance, KPIs, and departmental profitability
· Handle customer enquiries, issues, and escalations professionally
· Maintain accurate records and ensure all systems are kept up to date
· Ensure compliance with health & safety and manufacturer requirements
Person Specification:
· Proven experience in a Service Manager or senior aftersales role (motorcycle or automotive)
· Strong organisational and leadership skills
· Able to manage a team effectively and hold people accountable
· Commercially aware with a focus on performance and results
· Calm, structured, and professional approach
· Strong communication skills
· Full UK driving licence required
· Motorcycle experience preferred but not essential
Skills Requirements:
