CSL Surveys is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Topographical & Measured Building Surveyor to join our growing team. No previous surveying experience is required—just a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and an interest in construction, engineering or technology.

About the Role
As a Trainee Surveyor, you'll develop practical and technical skills through a structured training programme. You'll begin by learning CAD and survey processing software before progressing to site work, where you'll assist our experienced surveyors with data capture.
As your skills develop, you'll gradually take on greater responsibility, eventually carrying out your own topographical and measured building surveys.
What You'll Be Doing
- Learning to use industry-leading surveying equipment and software
- Producing accurate survey drawings using CAD
- Assisting senior surveyors on site
- Collecting and processing survey data
- Producing high-quality deliverables for clients
- Developing the skills to independently undertake land and building surveys
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to build a long-term career.
You'll need:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 4-9/A-C), including English, Maths and Science
- A genuine interest in surveying, engineering or construction
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
Previous surveying experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
