About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our Cleaning Division. In this role, flexibility is key — you will be required to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on operational needs. You will support sites primarily across the South West but cover in Wales will be required, covering sickness, annual leave, deep cleans, and ad-hoc cleaning tasks across a range of commercial environments.
A company van will be provided as part of the role, and all necessary PPE, uniform, and equipment will be supplied.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across multiple commercial sites, ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Cover staff absences due to sickness or annual leave, often at short notice.
- Perform deep cleans and ad-hoc cleaning assignments as directed by the Cleaning Operations Team.
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and maintain accurate records as required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Communicate professionally with clients, site contacts, and management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven cleaning experience within commercial environments (preferred but not essential).
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to travel across Wales and the South West as required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, professionalism, and site conduct.
