Key Requirements:
- Capable of welding both Tig and Mig
- Can read and work to technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and capable of working to high accuracies
- Be conscientious and a clean worker making sure your work area is always kept tidy
- Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools
- Set up and operate machines, such as brakes presses, rolls, shears, and drill presses, to be able to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components. (Training will be given for our particular brand of machines)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Wages will be negotiated to match experience and ability
- At least 10 years worth of experience
Working hours and holidays:
- 39 hours per week.
- Overtime almost always available and is paid at 1.5x basic for the first 10 hours per week then 2x basic after.
- Holiday pay(excluding bank holidays) is paid at 1.25x basic.
- 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- For each full calendar year worked you receive an extra days holiday up to a maximum of 25 days per year (plus bank holidays)
