Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Procare Domiciliary Services Ltd. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living activities, including personal care, washing and dressing, continence care, mobility and transfer, managing medications, meal preparation and helping with domestic tasks.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential
- We do need from you is to have the Right to Work in the UK, as we are not able to offer Health and Care worker Visas at this point in time.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A valid UK driving license and access to own car for travel between client locations.
