Sales Advisor (Part-Time)

By The Beagle is a busy, family-run convenience store in St Ives, and we are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our growing team.
This role offers a guaranteed minimum of 15 hours per week, with additional hours available to cover holidays, sickness and peak trading periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers and operating the till accurately
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Stock replenishment and rotation
- Maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and presentation
- Handling deliveries
- Following age-restricted sales procedures and compliance regulations
- Opening or closing the store when required
Morning shift duties may include preparing and baking hot food items. Full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous retail or convenience store experience (essential)
- Weekend availability essential (including Sundays)
- Confident handling cash and card transactions
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to cover additional shifts when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience in food preparation or bakery operation is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
