We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrative Officer to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
The Role
As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing student records, supporting enrolments, handling enquiries, maintaining compliance documentation, and providing administrative support to learners, tutors, and management.
The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage student records and maintain accurate documentation
- Process student applications, enrolments, and course registrations
- Respond to telephone, email, and online enquiries professionally
- Support learners throughout their educational journey
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Prepare reports, letters, and administrative documents
- Assist with scheduling classes, meetings, and learner support sessions
- Support compliance and quality assurance processes
- Monitor student attendance and administrative records
- Work closely with tutors, assessors, and management teams
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are maintained
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Professional telephone manner and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within education, training, healthcare, or dental sectors
- Experience handling student records or admissions processes
- Familiarity with CRM systems and online learning platforms
- Understanding of compliance and quality assurance procedures
