40 hours per week contract + Performance Related Incentives + Paid Overtime
Overview
To lead the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food that meets the highest standards of
quality and is fully compliant with all food safety regulations. You will ensure all dishes are
prepared to specification and served in a timely manner, consistently providing excellent
service.
As the kitchen’s lead on food safety, health & safety, and allergen compliance, you will stay
current with relevant legislation and implement any necessary process changes.
You will also work closely with the General Manager to support environmental and
sustainability initiatives, actively identifying opportunities that align with Tiny Rebel’s CSR
(Corporate Social Responsibility) agenda.
Responsibilities
Leading the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food service- Overseeing training to ensure everyone understands dish specs and standards
- Driving kitchen compliance with food safety, H&S, and allergen regulations
- Collaborating on menu development to keep it fresh, exciting, and on-brand
- Managing kitchen budgets, stock, and supplier relationships
- Planning rotas and forecasting for events and busy periods
- Taking the lead on recruitment, training, and team development
- Supporting sustainability and CSR goals alongside the GM
The person
At least 2 years experience in a Head Chef role- Strong leadership and team development skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, H&S, and allergen procedures
- Creativity and passion for developing exciting, trend-led menus
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Organised, forward-thinking, and great at problem-solving
