Role Specific Duties
l Ensure Residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
l Ensure that all Infection Control precautions are maintained to the highest standards
l Delivering person centred care to people isolated in their rooms for the duration of their stay.
l To contribute to the efficient running of the service
l Support Residents to maintain their relationships with family
l Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Residents are followed
l Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer of any changes in the needs of Residents.
l Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
Working with others:
l Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the care home
l Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Residents
l If desired by the Residents, maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life
Leading by example:
l Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
l Be a role model for other carers and be an ambassador for the service
l Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times
Personal Responsbilities:
l Knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards
l Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements
l Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
l Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
l Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role
l Be open to learning opportunities
Hourly Rate: £12.71
