Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Warmley, Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied warehouse role, with the position being approximately 80% warehouse picking and scanning and 20% FLT driving.
The Role:
You will be an important part of the warehouse team, helping to ensure stock is accurately picked, scanned and moved around the site efficiently. The role will involve regular manual handling and warehouse duties, alongside operating an FLT when required.
Key Duties
- Picking stock accurately from warehouse locations
- Using scanners to pick, scan and record stock movements
- Checking quantities and ensuring orders are picked correctly
- Moving and organising stock around the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries when required
- Operating an FLT safely and efficiently
- Storing and locating stock in the correct warehouse areas
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
- Carrying out general warehouse and manual handling duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy warehouse team to meet daily targets
About You
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Current FLT licence/experience required
- Previous experience using handheld scanners would be advantageous
- Comfortable with regular picking and manual handling
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
