7.5 Tonne Driver Casual
We are looking to recruit reliable 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our casual driver pool, delivering storage pods and sheds across the UK.
About the role
- Monday to Friday daytime work
- Flexible shifts – accept the work that suits your availability
- Vehicles loaded and ready to leave between 6:00 am and 8:00 am
- All shifts start and finish at our Hucknall depot NG15 6LR
- Minimum 6-hour paid shift
- Average 7 to 10 hours
- Nationwide deliveries
- Fuel card provided
Once registered, available work is posted in our driver group. Simply let us know which days you are available to work. Minimum commitment 2 days a week.
Requirements
- Full UK 7.5T C1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Fewer than 6 penalty points
- Live within approximately 15 miles of Hucknall
- At least 8 years’ driving experience with a 7.5T licence, or 2 years’ HGV driving experience
- Recent commercial driving experience
- Comfortable with manual handling and using a pallet truck
- Willing to obtain a DBS check school deliveries
- Experience using basic hand tools for wood work is an advantage
