Position: Kitchen Assistant (Permanent)
Location: Ulceby Cross Filling Station
Hours: 12 hours per week (Sunday & Monday)
Gill Marsh Forecourts, operators of SPAR convenience stores, are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ulceby Cross Filling Station.
This is a permanent 12-hour per week position working Sunday and Monday, with the opportunity for additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a range of fresh food items including hot food, sandwiches, salad boxes, and other grab-and-go products
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously from the food counter
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
- Ensure food is prepared, presented, and stocked to company standards
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
- Work as part of a small team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen, food preparation, or catering experience is preferred, although full training will be provided
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a busy environment
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A clean UK driving licence is essential
