Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fixtures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
