Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pensions and Divorce Expert to join a small team. In this role, you will provide specialized guidance on pension schemes and divorce-related financial settlements, supporting the financial planner, ensuring clients receive clear, accurate advice during complex life transitions. Your expertise will help clients navigate the intricacies of pension division, legal requirements, and financial planning with confidence. Duties
- Assess and analyze pension schemes to determine division strategies in divorce proceedings
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support legal cases involving pensions and divorce settlements
- Collaborate with legal professionals, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive case management
- Conduct research on relevant legislation, case law, and industry best practices to stay current with evolving regulations
- Assist in protecting biding training to solicitors.
- Manage case files efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook while maintaining meticulous records
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pensions specialist in an actuarial capacity role focusing on divorce cases
- Strong understanding of defined benefit pension schemes, legal frameworks, and divorce procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and empathetically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis, Outlook for correspondence
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple cases effectively
- Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Pay: Up to £80,000.00 per year
