Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to elderly residents in our rest home.
Contracted hours for this role: 39 hours hours per week
Duties:
- Provide high-quality personal care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Administer medication to residents according to their
- Supervise and support care staff in daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist in the development and updating of individual care plans
- Use systems for record keeping and communication
- Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and mentoring junior staff
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or a similar caring role with the ability to administer medication
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with working in a care home environment
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Proficiency in documentation and communication
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans for seniors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
