Overview
Betafit PPE Ltd. is a leading supplier of high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE), specialising in above-the-neck protection. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Warehouse & Production Operative to join our Operations team.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving warehouse duties, production activities, stock management and quality control. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring customer orders are manufactured, assembled, packed and dispatched accurately and on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
Duties
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries.
- Put stock away accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Load and unload vehicles safely.
- Carry out stock replenishment and stock rotation.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock takes.
- Ensure warehouse locations remain organised, clean and clearly labelled.
Production
- Assemble PPE products in accordance with work instructions.
- Carry out pad printing, heat seal application or product customisation where required.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Package finished products to Betafit's quality standards.
Experience
Essential
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to reliably commute to Alton, Hampshire, on a daily basis.
Desirable
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Counterbalance Forklift license (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
