We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Head Chef to lead the launch and development of a new hotel food concept in the Leicestershire region. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who wants more than just their next kitchen role. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the food operation, shape the menu, build the team and play a key role in creating a successful destination dining experience. Working alongside the wider business, you will have the freedom and support to develop a high-quality food offering across breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events. The Opportunity You will be responsible for creating and delivering a food concept that appeals to both hotel guests and the local community. The role will include: Developing a seasonal, commercially successful menu Leading all kitchen operations Building and training a strong kitchen team Delivering consistent quality across breakfast, lunch and dinner service Developing private dining, weddings and special event opportunities Managing food costs, GP targets and kitchen efficiency Working closely with the business to grow the reputation of the venue About You We are looking for a passionate chef who: Has experience leading a professional kitchen team Understands quality food and commercial performance Enjoys creating menus and developing concepts Takes pride in standards, consistency and presentation Has the ambition to build something rather than simply manage an existing operation Experience in hotels, restaurants, pubs or destination dining venues would be beneficial.
