At UWE Bristol, our Accommodation Services team provides a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for students living in University-managed accommodation. As a Customer Service Assistant (Accommodation Services), you will be a key point of contact for students, visitors and colleagues, delivering excellent customer service across our accommodation sites.
You will respond to queries, provide information and guidance, issue access cards, support maintenance requests and help manage our busy Post and Parcel Service. You will also contribute to creating safe, welcoming environments and support key activities throughout the year, including student arrivals, departures and Open Days.

You will have:
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
Experience of working with students, in hospitality or within a customer-facing environment would be an advantage. Additional language skills are also welcomed.
Where you will be working
Accommodation Services operate across a number of UWE Bristol accommodation locations. While Frenchay Campus is likely to be your main base, you will be required to work at other accommodation sites to support operational needs.
The role operates on a rota covering our Customer Service and Post & Parcel services, which run seven days a week. Flexibility is therefore essential, particularly during busy periods such as student arrivals, departures, university closure periods and University events.
This role is based on site for all your time.

This is a part-time, fixed term position, working 32 hours per week Sunday - Thursday. Hours to be confirmed between 10:30 – 19:00, typically 6 hours shifts.
