Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the team.

We are seeking a Senior Planner to support major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes in the Glasgow area. These roles will involve working closely with project delivery, engineering, and commercial teams to develop, manage, and monitor integrated project schedules across complex and highly regulated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and delivery programmes.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, critical path activities, and performance.
- Support forecasting, reporting, and project controls activities.
- Identify programme risks, delays, and opportunities, supporting mitigation and recovery plans.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate planning and schedule alignment.
- Assist with change management, progress updates, and stakeholder reporting.
- Promote planning best practice and continuous improvement across projects.
Key Requirements:
- Experience within a Planning role in construction, infrastructure, engineering, defence, nuclear, or other regulated sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Good understanding of project controls, scheduling, and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant project controls or planning qualifications desirable.
- Eligibility for and ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
- British National status (essential for defence projects).
