Window Cleaner - £120-£160 per day plus bonuses
Maran Cleaning Limited, trading as Marans Window Cleaning, is a Wymondham-based window cleaning company running three vans across Wymondham, Norwich and the surrounding areas, looking after over 1,000 regular customers. The round is growing and we're taking on a fourth operative.
The work
You'll drive a company van on a planned route, cleaning exterior windows with a hot water-fed pole system. Some jobs include gutter clearing with a gutter vacuum and fascia cleaning. You'll have regular contact with customers, so a professional, friendly and polite manner matters.
No window cleaning experience needed - your first few weeks are spent working alongside an experienced operative, learning the job properly, before going out working on your own.
Day to day, you'll:
- Clean windows, frames and sills to a high standard on every visit
- Clear gutters and clean fascias on jobs that need it
- Drive a medium-sized van (e.g. Renault Trafic) safely on a planned route
- Maintain your equipment and work safely
- Represent the company well at the customer's property
Pay and hours
This is a full-time PAYE position, not self-employment, no franchise fees, no van rental. Pay is performance-based: you're paid commission for the work you complete, so the more efficiently you work, the more you earn. During training you're guaranteed at least minimum wage. Once trained, most operatives earn £120–£160 a day plus bonuses, Paid monthly.

What we need
- A full UK driving licence held for at least two years
- Aged 25 or over (both the above are requirements of our vehicle insurance, with no exceptions)
- Living within about 15 miles of Wymondham (NR18)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, all year round
- Physically able to handle heavy poles throughout the day
- Self-motivated, reliable and punctual.
