Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring quick and correct delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including daily specials and dietary options
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food preparation and service
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while providing personalised guest attention
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
IMPORTANT: Training will be given and uniform will be provided. If within the local villages to The Ferryman Inn, support with transport is available.
