PAID TRIAL SHIFT - ASAP
Previous applicants that have attended a trial shift on this site need not apply again
We are looking for an experienced commercial cleaner to join our friendly team cleaning welfare and office facilities at our client site in Colchester.
Hours - 12 hours per week plus extra hours for cover as necessary for other team members
Times - Start times very between 3 and 3.30pm each day depending on cover required each day / additional hours if needed for cover - may finish later
Days - Without cover, regular shifts are Monday - Friday each week as follows:
Monday - Thursday - 3.30-6pm
Friday - 4-6pm
Pay rate - £13.00 p/hour - PAYE, paid monthly, accrued holiday.
General duties include:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitise toilets
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and high-traffic areas
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- Track supplies needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients
