Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the development of children through engaging activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education principles.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a structured environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports all children's needs.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings through leadership and teamwork.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development principles.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with children and families.
- Experience working with children in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow practitioners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth through positive interactions.

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
