Care Professional – Robin Care, Edinburgh
Most care roles will tell you the position is “rewarding.”
What does that actually mean?
At Robin Care, we’re building something that genuinely feels different - for both the people we support and the people who work with us.
We believe care should be personal, unrushed, and built on real relationships. Not quick visits and tick-box tasks. We also believe the best care comes from people who feel valued, supported, and given the time to do their job properly.
We’re a new care at home company in Edinburgh, created with a simple promise: care we would be proud for our own family to receive.
We’re currently recruiting for the following shift - and we need someone soon:
Monday and Wednesday, 10am-7pm
Saturday, 9am -1pm
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9.30am - 5.30pm
Hours may vary slightly week to week, and there’s genuine opportunity to take on more shifts as we grow.
About the Role
As a Care Professional, you’ll support individuals in their own homes across Edinburgh city centre and surrounding areas - helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Initial support will focus on companionship, shopping, and light household duties. As we grow into full care services, responsibilities will expand to include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Meal preparation and nutritional support
- Medication support and safe disposal
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need experience - you need the right personality and values.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Genuinely cares about people
- Takes pride in their work
- Is empathetic, patient, and kind
- Naturally goes above and beyond
- Is reliable, positive, and motivated
Why Robin Care is Different
Robin Care was founded on personal experience - caring for a loved one, and a professional background in HR and Talent Management. That means we understand what it feels like to be on both sides of care, and we’re committed to treating our team with the same respect and individuality as our clients.
This isn’t a large corporate provider. It’s a chance to be part of something from the beginning - and help shape what it becomes.
What we offer:
- A genuine opportunity to grow with a new company
- Full training and ongoing support
- Flexible working hours with scope for more
- Meaningful relationships with clients
- A role where you make a real difference -every single day
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to join the PVG scheme
- Driving licence required
- Background or studies in healthcare preferred, but not essential
- Care experience preferred, but not essential
If you’re looking for just another care job, this probably isn’t for you.
But if you want to be part of something that genuinely cares - for the people it supports and the people who show up every day - we’d love to hear from you.
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
