Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality metal structures, sheet metal parts, and custom fabrications that meet project specifications. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal components accurately according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural parts
- Measure materials with basic math skills to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances are maintained throughout the fabrication process
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints, assembled parts, and finished products to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times during fabrication and welding activities
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, troubleshooting issues, and improving fabrication processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding, welding techniques or similar methods
- Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication processes
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
- Experience with assembly of fabricated parts or structures is preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, fabrication, and use of power tools
