Job Description:
Skilled, motivated and conscientious Fleet Engineer/Technician required for a varied and rewarding role within a national machinery dealership.
This is a hands-on position based in our Kendal workshops, responsible for the maintenance, repair and inspection of our in-house fleet of cars, vans, HGVs and trailers, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and have experience working with HGVs and commercial vehicles as well as hold a Category C+E licence.
Attention to detail, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and the ability to accurately complete service documentation are essential attributes.
The successful candidate should be confident working independently as well as part of a team, maintaining high standards across a varied workload.
