Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Bike Mechanic to join our growing team of mechanics.
In this role, you will be responsible for expertly repairing, maintaining, and customizing a wide range of bicycles, ensuring each bike meets our high standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues on various bicycle models using advanced knowledge of bike systems and components
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including gear adjustments, brake servicing, wheel truing, and drivetrain overhauls with precision and efficiency
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to disassemble, repair, and reassemble bikes, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on bike selection, upgrades, and best maintenance practices
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and productivity
- Manage heavy lifting of bikes and parts during repairs or inventory organization to ensure smooth workflow
- Train junior staff or apprentices on proper repair techniques and tool usage to foster team development
Experience
- Proven experience as a bike mechanic with a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance of bicycles
- Ideally Ctech level 2 trained or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of bicycle components, systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency with both hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, impact drivers) used in bike repair
- Ability to lift heavy bikes or parts safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience is a plus but not required

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
