Job Summary
Must have is a full driving clean driving license with category B&E trailer We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Farm Hand/Transport 4x4 and trailer driver to support daily farm operations and transportation needs. The successful candidate will be ensuring the safe and efficient movement of equipment and produce. Responsibilities
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on farm equipment, including repair and servicing of machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks related to loading, unloading, and transporting goods or materials around the farm and on the road up and down the country.
- Support animal care activities such as feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Transport livestock, or agricultural equipment and cars up and down the country safely using appropriate vehicles or trailers.
- Use basic maths skills for inventory management, measurements, and record keeping.
- Assist with general farm maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and optimise productivity.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience in animal care and horticulture is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
